Curtain of the Moon Kit - Sydney Opera House Coburn Tapestry

This kit showcases a section of the Tapestry of the Moon, created by John Coburn in 1969 specifically for use at the Sydney Opera House. During the venue's Grand Opening in 1973, the curtains' expansive dimensions, vivid hues, and powerful abstract designs captivated the audience. Originally used in the Drama Theatre until the 1990s, these curtains have since been preserved for their historical value, and are now not often visible to the public.

This kit contains printed canvas, instructions, threads and a needle.
